During your first visit to East Madison Dental, we want to get to know you and understand your needs and your wishes. We will review your dental and medical history digital forms, and take photos of your mouth, and X-rays of your teeth.
Your dentist will then meet with you to perform a thorough, gentle dental exam, oral cancer screening, and an assessment of the teeth, gums, facial muscles, and the TMJ (temporomandibular joint). Your doctor will discuss the results of your examination, review your photos and X-rays with you to help create your customized treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have about dental treatments, restorations, your aesthetic goals, or anything else!
We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing for your first visit to our office, please remember that your appointment may last between 45 and 75 minutes. One of our hygienists will develop a custom plan for the health of your gums, clean and polish your teeth, as well as check your gums for any signs of gingivitis or gum disease.
